An attorney can be of value when you buy or sell a home. If you are looking at doing a sale by owner's home, or purchasing one, you REALLY need an attorney. I charge hourly, not by commission. So, in a for sale by owner situation, you do come out way ahead by having an attorney represent you.
If you are working with a realtor, there are times when an experienced attorney can review your documents, make recommended changes, and work closely with both your realtor and title agent to ensure that all documents are properly prepared for your closing. There are also times when you may want to be in or out of a real estate contract. That is when an experienced attorney is of great value to you.
If you are moving into a Condo, it is advisable to have someone review the condo documents, declarations, by laws and analyze the reserves set aside for future repairs BEFORE you finalize the purchase of a condominium. Many times these agreements will include provisions that may not work for you and your family. I have experience reading and advising clients on what these restrictions would mean to you, the purchaser.
I have been doing residential real estate work for over 20 years and would love to help you in any way I can. My fees are very reasonable and I am very available to help you in any way I can. Please see fee tab for more details. For those needing land contracts, occupancy before closing or other creative solutions for buying or selling real estate, please contact me to assist you. Needing a lease agreement or review of one? Please call or e-mail so I can be of assistance.
